Pranabananda Women's College undergoes successful NAAC assessment

DIMAPUR — The NAAC peer team completed a two-day exercise for the second cycle of NAAC assessment and accreditation of Pranabananda Women's College (PWC), Dimapur, on August 19.

The team consisted of Dr. Nisha Yadav, professor, IIS University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, as chairperson, and Dr. Aruna Deoskar, principal, Modern Institute of Business Studies, Pune, Maharashtra, as member coordinator.

According to a press release from the college, the peer team members inspected the college's facilities on the first day and interacted with all of its stakeholders, including management, students, teachers, alumni, parents, non-teaching staff, library staff, the student council, and the university and district official representatives.

On the second day, the team interacted with the departments via PPT presentation and prepared a report, which was shared confidentially with Dr. Santosh Kumar, principal, and Saurav Dowarah, IQAC coordinator, PWC.

The team concluded its assessment with an exit meeting attended by students, governing body members, and college staff. Yadav summarised their overall assessment of PWC and suggested measures to further improve the college's quality parameters during the meeting.
