Mutsolu Z Lohe launches maiden poetry collection ‘Becoming Me’ at CUE Academy; book described as a bildungsroman in verse.

DIMAPUR — ‘Becoming Me’, the maiden poetry collection of Mutsolu Z Lohe, was officially launched on December 6 at CUE Academy in Kohima.
According to an update, the publisher’s note was delivered by Dr. Rukulu Kezo Puro, who highlighted the sincerity and honesty that define the collection. Ruth Kezo presented the introduction and spoke briefly on Mutsolu’s journey as a young writer.
The author addressed the gathering, sharing the inspiration behind ‘Becoming Me’. She explained that the poems are grounded in simple yet heartfelt reflections on childhood, school experiences, family bonds, friendships, faith, and the process of growing into young adulthood.
The special guest, Keduoneinuo Solo, author of ‘My Dream Girl’ and research scholar, delivered the special address. She congratulated the author and described the collection as a bildungsroman in verse, distinguished by the poet’s simplicity, clarity, and emotional honesty. The ceremonial launch of the book was jointly carried out by the author and the special guest.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the author’s father. This was followed by a fellowship lunch hosted by the author’s family. The book is published by CUE Academy Publications and is available for purchase.
