Dimapur, March 5 (EMN): Advisor for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Dr. Neikiesalie Kire, inaugurated a town council hall at Seyochung in Kiphire district on March 3.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Kire encouraged the Seyochung area public to co-operate with the town council in order to usher in more development in the area.
In a separate programme, minister for Geology and Mining, Soil and Water Resource, and chairman of NSMDC, V Kashiho Sangtam, inaugurated a rural marketing complex at Seyochung town in Kiphire district on March 3.
A DIPR report stated that the businesses at the complex would be operated exclusively by upcoming young entrepreneurs and women from Seyochung town.
In his address, Kashiho Sangtam stated that the marketing complex was a long-felt need of the Seyochung town public.
Meanwhile, Health minister S Pangnyu Phom also inaugurated a community health centre at Seyochung town on March 3.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Phom stated that the newly inaugurated centre now belongs to the community. He, therefore, stated that success of the centre would depend on their involvement and support.
