Dimapur, June 27 : Based on complaints received from beneficiaries of 2014-15 PMEGP scheme in Mokokchung, the MTLT met Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung to highlight the concerns and latest updates on the 2014-15 PMEGP. The MTLT also met the bank managers of different banks in Mokokchung to discuss about the reasons for the delay of release of funds.
The MTLT Public Grievances Cell and Media Cell in a release, demanded that the 2014-15 PMEGP pending funds be released at the earliest keeping in view that the applicants of Mokokchung do not fall short of their visions and potentials.
Stating that the PMEGP scheme by objective is for the welfare of unemployed youths, the MTLT said, youths must not be made to wait to find employment due to lack of approved governmental funding . The MTLT also said, the PMEGP beneficiaries must be accountable in recovering the loans accordingly.
