Kohima, April 11 (EMN): Defending champions MRH Sunrisers outclassed MRH FC by 3-1 during its encounter on Tuesday morning at the ongoing Morning Premier League at Kohima local ground.
In the first half, Asat of MRH Sunrisers found the net in the 15th minute with an assist from Talisunep. Talisunep added his name to the score sheet in the 26th minute through a free kick outside the D-box. The lone goal for the MRH FC came from the boot of Asu in the 34th minute via a penalty.
Captain Chuba of MRH Sunrisers scored another goal in the 57th minute to end the match 3-1.
The win saw MRH Sunrisers temporarily moved up to fifth position at the table.
However, despite the hammering, MRH FC remained in second place of the Morning Premier League table with 15 points. All Blacks who has a game in hand leads the table on goal difference.
