Dimapur, Oct. 9 (EMN): Rajya Sabha MP, KG Kenye urged the Christian leaders to be more vigilant on the new political development taking place in the Naga society.
Kenye said this while inaugurating the Master of Divinity correspondence programme-cum-alumni meet of the Discipleship Bible College at Mt. Miracle, Angami Signal Bosti, Dimapur, on October 8. Stating that Nagas society had undergone lot of trials, situation and circumstances in the past and with no certainty of tomorrow, Kenye called upon the theologians, missionaries and church leaders to pray dedicatedly so that Naga would reap at the right time of what the Almighty God has stored for them.
“We are proud to be a Christian state but we have greater responsibility to manifest the teaching of Christ through our way of life as we are being watched, studied, evaluated and analysed by our surroundings of how a Christian state live,” Kenye said.
