MP Kenye seeks Japanese investment

Dimapur, July 18 (EMN): Rajya Shaba MP KG Kenye, prior to Monsoon Session of Parliament called on the Japanese Minister for Economic and Development, Kenko Sone, the Secretary of the Japanese Embassy Kenji Aya and Manish Uprety FRAS former Indian Diplomat at New Delhi on July 17 2018. Parliamentarian Kenye had wide ranging discussion with the Japanese delegates on agri. and allied sector and investment for the state of Nagaland with special emphasis to strengthen the economic condition of the people in the border area, informed a press release issued by the PS to the Rajya Shaba MP. Besides other general development for the State, the possibility of World War II Japanese Memorial for the fallen Japanese soldiers on the ‘forgotten route’ which is the Imphal - Ukhrul –Jessami - Pfutsero trail in Nagaland was also discussed, the release stated.
