Movement restricted between Chathe and Khuokhi River bridges

Dimapur, Nov. 28 (EMN): In order to facilitate the progress of the four-lane construction works and in the interest of public safety, the deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Rajesh Soudararajan, has ordered total restriction of all movement from Chathe River Bridge (Patkai Bridge) to Khuokhi (Kukidolong) from 7 am on November 29 to 5 am on November 30.

The restriction has been necessitated to facilitate speedy completion of works and as a precautionary measures to prevent any injury, loss of life and damage to property.

Public travelling from Kohima to Dimapur are asked to take an alternative route via 7th Mile – New DC office – Shokhuvi – Razaphe – Mhaikam – Pimla – Mhainamtsi – Jhornapani/ Medziphema and vice versa.
