Mount Tiyi College, Lotha Academy ink MoU for cultural advancement
DIMAPUR — The Lotha Naga Cultural Resource Centre of Mount Tiyi College, Wokha, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Lotha Academy, Wokha, on November 4.
The memorandum is intended to further the shared goals of disseminating traditional knowledge, preserving Lotha cultural heritage, and promoting Lotha indigenous language among the student community in particular and the people of Wokha in general, according to a press release.
Dr. Libemo Kithan, associate professor and coordinator of Lotha Naga Cultural Resource Centre, gave a brief introduction of the centre and the purpose of collaboration with Lotha Academy, Wokha, during a short programme held at the IQAC conference hall of Mount Tiyi College, Wokha.
Sentimenla Jamir, vice principal, and her colleagues from Mount Tiyi College, as well as Father Abraham, president, and his colleagues from Lotha Academy, Wokha, attended the event.
