Dimapur, April 20 (EMN): Motorola on Tuesday launched two new affordable smartphones in India — Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion — which will be available on the online store, Flipkart.

The new Motorola smartphones are part of Moto‘s affordable G series and are expected to compete with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series and the Realme 8 series smartphones.

Moto G60 specs and price

The Moto G60 comes in a single variant and is the first phone in the Moto G series to come with 108-megapixel main rear cameras like its Xiaomi Redmi counterparts. The triple camera setup on the back is composed of a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It also comes with a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor and comes with a beautiful 6.8-inch Full HD+ HDR10 display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It boasts a huge 6,000mAh battery with TurboPower 20 fast charging. Moto G60 comes loaded with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Additional features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated Google Assistant button, Moto gestures, near-stock Android 11 experience and support for NFC.

The Moto G60 is available on the Flipkart store for INR 17,999.

Moto G40 specs and price

The Moto G40 Fusion comes in two variants — 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. It is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor as the Moto G60 along with the same 120Hz refresh rate display and 6,000mAh battery.

However, the Moto G40 Fusion differs from the Moto G60 in the camera department, where a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide/macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor make up its triple-camera setup. It also has a not-so-impressive 16-megapixel front camera for selfies.

Additional features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated Google Assistant button, Moto gestures and near-stock Android 11 experience.

The Moto G40 Fusion 4GB/64GB variant is priced at around INR 13,999 and the 6GB/128GB version is priced at around INR 15,999.
