Motorola launches flagship Edge 20 Pro with Snapdragon 870 SoC in India

Dimapur, October 1 (EMN): Lenovo-owned Motorola on Friday launched its latest flagship device, the Edge 20 Pro, in India.

Priced at INR 36,999, the Edge 20 Pro features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Max Vision AMOLED display with support for a 144Hz refresh rate and 5G. The display features a 20:9 aspect ratio and HDR10+ support, as well as a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.

The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with an Adreno 650 GPU and 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The Edge 20 Pro comes with 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage along with other features like Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

The device sensors include an accelerometer, an ambient light, a gyroscope, a magnetometer, and a proximity sensor.

It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that is located just below the power button.

In terms of optics, this is where the Edge 20 Pro packs a punch. It boasts a triple-camera setup including a 108-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.9 lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide shooter.

For selfie duties, the Edge 20 Pro has a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.25 lens on the front of the device.

The Edge 20 Pro is no slouch in the battery department too. It has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W TurboPower fast charging.

It may be mentioned that the European version of the Edge 20 Pro comes in a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration, however, the Indian variant comes only in an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration.

The Edge 20 Pro pre-orders start from October 3 through the online store, Flipkart. Users can choose between two colour options: Midnight Sky and Iridescent Cloud.
