Motorola announces Edge 30 Pro smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

Dimapur, Feb. 24 (EMN): Smartphone maker Motorola has just announced the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, its latest flagship android device for 2022.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro looks similar to its 2021 Motorola X30 device apart from a larger battery.

The new device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and a 4,800 mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro comes with a 6.7″ pOLED display with a screen refresh rate of 144Hz. It has two RAM options: 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It also has three storage options: 128GB or 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage space.

Customers can choose between two colour variants: Cosmos Blue and Stardust White.

The device features a triple-camera setup including a 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the device has a 60MP camera on the front.

Other notable features include Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless power sharing.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro will be available for purchase via Flipkart and offline retailers starting 12 pm on March 4. It is priced at around INR 44,999.
