Dimapur, June 20 (EMN): Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Kaushal Kishore arrived in Nagaland on Monday in connection with the eighth International Day of Yoga, which falls on June 21.
An update informed that Kishore along with Dr Neikesalie Kire, Advisor of Urban Dept and Municipal Affairs, government of Nagaland, visited 37 BN BSF Chedema in Kohima, where they were received by the Commandant of the battalion Vinod Kumar at the “officers' institute 37 BN BN”.
The visitors then planted tree saplings in the camp area before interacting with the jawans of the BN (Sainik Sammelam).
Kishore told the jawans about the benefits of Yoga and appreciated them for their sacrifice and selfless dedication for security of the country, informed the update.
The union minister scheduled to attend a yoga session at the Kisama Heritage Village on Tuesday after spending a night at BSF camp.
