More than 42K doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered in Nagaland so far

Dimapur, March 9(EMN): A total of 42,289 doses of Covishield vaccine have been administered to Healthcare and frontline workers in Nagaland till date and a total of 1,970 doses have been administered to people aged between 45-59 with specified comorbidities and people aged above 60 years.

This was informed by State Immunisation Officer Dr. Ritu Thurr through an update.

According to the update, out of 16, 875 doses vaccinated to healthcare workers, 10,713 are beneficiaries of first dose and second dose for 6,162 with a total coverage of 49.7%.

Out of 25,414 doses vaccinated to frontline workers, first dose receivers account for 25,414 and 271 received second dose with a total coverage of 47.6%.

The update also informed that a total of 1,970 beneficiaries are aged above 45, wherein 253 are between 45-60 years of age with co-morbidities and 1,717 persons are aged above 60 years.
