More than 4 lac with MGNREGA job cards in state

Nagaland state’s Chief Minister Dashboard states that the number of active job cards from the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) is 4, 28,500. According to the CM dashboard, the record is from January 28 to February 2 2020.

The number of active workers as recorded is 5, 44,481. The number of person-days generated is 95, 28,744, and the number of ongoing works is 4,710. The total expenditure is at INR 312.2941 crore, it states.

According to the Ministry of Rural Development, in Nagaland, the total number of MGNREGA job cards that were issued was 4,35,870 for the financial year 2019-2020 which was updated on Feb. 2. The number of active job cards is at 4,28,493; the total number of workers is at 7,26,362; the total number of active workers is at 5,44,602; the total number of works that have been taken up, both new and spillover, is at 5,910; and the number of ongoing work reported is 4,770, while the number of completed work is at 1,144.
