Dimapur, Feb 3: MTKN: Metha Thinuo Krotho Nagaland (MTKN) is deeply shocked and pained to hear the sudden demise of its member Khriesavizo Metha on January 31. MTKN regretted of losing an energetic and well educated member whom they have high hope to lift up our people.
“Yet we retrospect, what life can be more meaningful than to have lived and sacrificed oneself for the cause of the Naga people,” added MTKN. It prays that God grant sufficient strength at this hour of profound loss to the bereaved family and the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
NLSF: Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) has expressed pain and anguish over the events leading to the death of two Naga youth and loss of properties including the NLSF office situated at old Secretariat Complex on February 2.
The federation conveyed heartfelt condolence to the two departed souls and pray to Almighty God to grant peace and solace to the bereaved families.
NLSF also strongly appealed to both Government of Nagaland and Tribal Hohos to calm down and sort out the differences through dialogue without indulging into violence means.
In a press note, NLSF president Imliben Lemtur and vice president Yuwang, stated that NLSF office burnt down along with the other offices adjacent to it on February 2, has lost federation properties worth Rs. 3.5 lakh, including office documents and records were damaged.
