Dimapur, Jan. 7 (EMN): A project performance assessment tool of the government, the Dashboard for Analytical Review of Projects across Nation (Darpan) portal, has been launched in Mon district. The facility was launched by deputy commissioner of Mon district, Thavaseelan K, on January 4 in the deputy commissioner’s chamber.
Among other officials attending the event were additional deputy commissioner of Mon, Kumar Ramnikant; and DIO (NIC) Ravi Ranjan Kumar besides other officers from the district administration and the National Informatics Centre (NIC).
The platform will assist deputy commissioners to manage and enhance the performance of schemes and programmes of the centre and the state government. It will help in implementing them in the district more effectively. So far, more than 18 projects have been integrated and more projects will subsequently be integrated in accordance with the requirement of the district administration, the updates stated.
Mon district has become the first district in the state of Nagaland to have the Darpan, the DIPR stated.
