Pakon Phom urged citizens to use the ECINET platform, which offers online voter registration, e-EPIC download and other services.
DIMAPUR — Additional Deputy Commissioner and Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Mon, Pakon Phom, has informed the citizens of Mon district that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has launched ECINET, a comprehensive digital platform that brings a wide range of electoral services under a single, user-friendly interface.
According to a DIPR report, the platform is accessible through the ECINET web portal as well as the ECINET mobile application, available on both Android and iOS devices.
ECINET enables electors to access various electoral services online, including voter registration, correction of electoral roll entries, change of residence, replacement of Electoral Photo Identity Cards (EPICs), and registration of overseas electors.
Users can also track the status of their applications, search electoral details, download e-EPICs, and obtain contact information for electoral officers.
As part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, electors can fill out and submit enumeration forms online. The platform also allows citizens to verify whether their names are included in the electoral roll prepared during the last Special Intensive Revision.

To improve citizen engagement, ECINET features a 'Book a call with BLOs' option, enabling electors to connect directly with their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs) for guidance and clarification on electoral matters.
The platform also provides an online facility for citizens to file appeals against decisions of the electoral registration officer, wherever applicable.
In addition, it is integrated with the national grievance redressal system, allowing users to lodge complaints, submit suggestions, and track the status of their grievances online.
By integrating multiple electoral services into a single digital platform, ECINET aims to improve accessibility, enhance efficiency and transparency, and encourage greater citizen participation in the electoral process.
Pakon encouraged all eligible citizens to download the ECINET mobile application and make full use of its services for a seamless and hassle-free electoral experience.
