Mokokchung Scouts & Guides leave for Kaziranga

Correspondent Mokokchung, December 4 Members of the Mokokchung District Bharat Scouts & Guides recently undertook an “exposure trip” to Kaziranga Park in Assam state on December 4. The trip was supported by the 31 Assam Rifles with additional support from 2nd Nagaland Armed Police of Alichen and Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung Morohu Chotso. The deputy commissioner is also the president of Bharat Scout & Guides’ unit. Assistant Commandant of the 31 Assam Rifle Haridas Dogra congratulated the scouts and guides. He called them “lucky persons” to have joined the Scout & Guides as it was an institution that imparted training on discipline. He wished the team a good trip and assured that the security force is always open to help the Bharat Scout and Guides. A total of 20 scouts and guides along with 19 Scout and Guides Masters and Captains set out for Assam for this two day visit in the world famous wildlife sanctuary.
