Mokokchung, April 29 (EMN): Christian Community Fellowship (CCF) under Mokokchung Town Baptist Church (MTBA) unveiled a banner “#MokokchungRainbows project” spanning 24 feet and containing picture of 302 participants on Monday in the main town square.
It was aimed at bringing peace, hope and colour to the town and to encourage all who see it especially the frontline workers and patients during this extraordinary times.
The banner is a collection of pictures posted on Facebook Page Mokokchung Rainbows by children, which was launched on March 27 to encourage families to spend quality time together, be creative and learn about God’s promises during the Covid-19 lockdown.
“#MokokchungRainbows has been overwhelmed by the response they’ve had, with children taking part from all over the state, country, and even as far as Myanmar, Europe and the US,” the Facebook page stated.
With new pictures still being submitted, the team is considering making another smaller banner in due course. Anyone willing to participate could send their photos to Whatsapp number +918974061977 or share them on the Mokokchung Rainbows Facebook page.
