Mokokchung bids farewell to outgoing DC

Mokokchung, March 30 (EMN): Mokokchung district bade farewell to its outgoing deputy commissioner, Limawabang Jamir, during a programme held at DC Bungalow on Wednesday.
Speaking at the programme, the outgoing DC stated that he is leaving more enriched with the knowledge and wisdom acquired from the people of Mokokchung. The outgoing deputy commissioner, who joined the office in November 2019, stated that his stay in Mokokchung for 2 years and 4 months was a memorable and successful journey.
He also attributed all the achievements made during his short stay in Mokokchung to the team work and contribution from all quarters. He has thanked all head of offices, subordinates, administrative officers, NGO and public of Mokokchung in general.
He also said admitted that because of the pandemic, the district have better health facility today and requested the CMO and MS of IMDH to work with renewed vigor to improve the health sector with the help of the civil societies and NGO.
The DC further appealed to the incoming DC to look into the matter of acute water shortage in Mokokchung. In this regard, he has suggested for a consultative meeting with PHED and civil societies and to put forward grievances to the government but without agitation.
In a short speech, the incoming DC, Shashank Pratap Singh, has sought guidance and support from the DC even in the future.
