Mokokchung administration to be fully digitised

Mokokchung, Dec. 6 (EMN):
Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) and chairman of Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), Sharingain Longkumer, on December 5 announced that Mokokchung district administration would be the first to be fully digitised and also upgrade its conference room.

He stated that with the upgrade, virtual communication could be established directly during meetings. He informed that the plan for upgrade and modernisation of the conference room was proposed in the last DPDB meeting and subsequently approved. He stated that the conference room would be fully integrated before starting of the next fiscal year.

He also announced that works are in process for digitalisation and automation of Assembly library where citizens would be able to log on the webpage and go through the archive documents post 1964 and all political dialogues with the government of India and stakeholders.

He further stated that 'we need to digitalise and integrate with the world in this century and not remained stagnant.'
