Moko Koza and Tripura based rapper BK releases new song

Kohima, Jan. 30 (EMN): Moko Koza, a rapper from Nagaland and Borkung Hrangkhawl (BK), a  Tripura based rapper has released a new song ‘8’.

An update issued on Jan. 30 informed that the song was officially released in YouTube on January 30. The song ‘8’ stands for the eight states in the Northeastern part of India.

In the song, both the rapper talks about the Hip-Hop scene in the Northeast and music in general.

BK in his verse talks about racism and how the northeast music scene is underrated inspite of the variety of talents the region has. While Moko Koza raps on how he was turned down by one of biggest Hip-Hop talent show in India (MTV Hustle, India) just because he didn’t rap in Hindi.

The song is said to send out a strong message to the general public and how the northeast music scene is evolving and can be represented both at national and international level.
