Dimapur, July 27 (EMN): Modern College conducted its 21st annual fresher’s social on the theme “A Journey towards Quintessential Outlook,” on July 27 at the college auditorium in Kohima.
A press release from the college on Friday informed that the director of Higher Education, Kuholi Chishi attended the programme as the chief guest.
The press note informed that Chishi spoke about the all round development of the students; to be more professional and to learn genuinely to reach the quintessential outlook. The director further encouraged the students to work hard and struggle to do the best with an aim to achieve the best.
Dean of the college, Kaikho Losü exhorted the students about the vision of Modern College which was started by Dr. Hekha. Losü further added that under Modern Society of Education it has led to the growth of Modern College, Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE), Modern Academy, IGNOU study centre, and Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.). He urged the students to take advantage of the facilities and grow in all aspects of life.
