Dimapur, Aug. 3 (EMN): In order to provide an opportunity for students to grow and groom their talents, the Department of History, Modern College, organised a ‘Talent Hunt’ competition for the students.
Various items including solo, duet, dances, instrumentals, newspaper project and choir items were showcased during the competition. The newspaper project presented by the Department of B. Voc. was adjudged as the winner of the competition, while the 1st and 2nd runners-up were bagged by Anisha Gurung of 3rd semester (Gen.) and Chungthuilung of 3rd semester (Hons.) respectively.
Assistant professor Sebastian Roy, in his opening remarks, highlighted on the importance of showcasing one’s talents in order to develop themselves to the fullest. The vote of thanks was pronounced by Vinoli K Sumi of 3rd semester (Hons). The programme was compered by Yiungfula and Solomon of 5th and 3rd semester (Hons.).
