Modern College organises seminar on robotics and artificial intelligence

[caption id="attachment_271126" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Students of Modern College, Kohima, attempting to assemble robots during the seminar on September 11.[/caption] Dimapur, Sep. 12 (EMN): Modern College, Kohima, in collaboration with Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, conducted a one-day seminar on ‘Robotics and Artificial Intelligence’ on September 11. The resource persons were associate professor Dr. Dipanjan Bhattercharjee, associate professor Kushal Pokhrel along with two engineers, all from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim, a press release by the college principal Dr. HP Singh stated. The programme was attended by faculty and students of Science of Modern College, Kohima. Kushal Pokhrel gave a brief introduction about the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, while Dr. Dipanjan Bhattercharjee made a presentation on the different parts of robots, building of robots and its applications. The students were given the opportunity to practically assemble their own robots. Live demonstration of various types of robots were also presented. The programme was organised with an aim to build curiosity and interest in Science and technology particularly among the young students of the state, the release added.
