Moderate rainfall likely in Nagaland for next 2 days

Dimapur: Scattered to fairly widespread light and moderate rainfall activity along with thunderstorm and lightning and gusty winds are likely to continue in various districts in Nagaland for the next two days, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

On Monday, light and moderate rainfall or thundershowers were observed in various districts. Districts including Dimapur, Mokokchung, Peren and Mon experienced thunderstorm and lightning and strong surface winds, while Kohima, Wokha and Longleng districts experienced thunderstorm and lightning.

Forecast shows that on March 28, Mokokchung, Wokha and Peren districts will likely experience thunderstorm and lightning and strong surface winds, while Dimapur, Phek, Mon and Longleng districts will likely experience thunderstorm and lightning.

On March 29, districts including Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung, Wokha, Peren, Mon and Longleng will likely experience thunderstorm and lightning.

As per the report, no significant change in maximum temperature is likely during the next five days in the state, and no heatwave likely over any part of the country during the next five days.
