Dimapur, April 15 (EMN): In order to facilitate the people residing in the border areas of Nagaland, the district administration of Dimapur has sent mobile ATMs so that citizens can withdraw money from it.
According to an update received here, the mobile ATMs were sent on April 15 since the border areas have been sealed and strict enforcement have been placed as preventive measure to contain the spread of Covid-19.
“The residents of these areas cannot go to Dimapur city/ banks for withdrawing cash as they normally do before borders were sealed/ lockdown,” the statement read.
Sending the mobile ATM will come as a huge relief to the people, especially the pensioners, it said, adding that the people expressed their gratitude to the district administration for the initiative.
The district administration also expressed gratitude towards the Assam government for extending full co-operation to Nagaland.
