Dimapur, May 1 (EMN): Governor RN Ravi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have extended Moatsü greetings to the Ao community.
In a message issued on Friday, Ravi stated that “an important teaching by the older men to the young people during the festival is to be bold and heroic to defend and protect the community from enemies”.
According to him, the most valiant act a person can do “in these difficult times” is to simply maintain social distancing and adhere to the government guidelines. He wished a happy, meaningful and blessed Moatsü celebration.
Meanwhile, Rio wrote on his Twitter account: “Moatsü greetings to the Ao community. I wish you all happiness and good health and pray that the Almighty’s protection continue to be upon us so that we will be able to celebrate our rich cultural heritage, as a community, in the near future.”
