IMPHAL,Sept 2
A Boby Singh and Yumnam Ongbi Momota Devi of Manipur have respectively won Gold and Bronze medals in their respective weight categories of 47th Mr Asia Body Building Championship which concluded at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on Sunday. Boby won gold in the Senior 80 kg weight category while Momota in 52 kg weight category.
The two Manipuri players are representing India in the championship. Earlier, another Manipuri body builder W Kiran has already clinched a bronze medal in the Junior 70 kg weight category of the Championship, which had been going on since August 27.
All Manipur Gymnasium Welfare Association has congratulated all the three Manipuri players for their achievements and stupendous performances in the championship.
