MMC to conduct dog registration-cum-vaccination drive

Mokokchung, September 19 (EMN): The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) administrator Shashank Pratap Singh has informed that the council in collaboration with the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Service, and All Ward Union Mokokchung will be conducting dog registration-cum-vaccination drive for the year 2020-21 from September 22 to the 24th.

On September 22, Tongdentsuyong, Alongmen, Sungkomen, Alempang, Dilong and Salangtem wards will be covered while Penli, Sangtemla, Arkong, Kumlong, Mongsenbai and Yimyu wards on September 23; and Aongza, Artang, Kichutip, Marepkong, Lijabalijen and Majakong wards on September 24.

The following guidelines have been notified for the success of the programme:

• The time of vaccination will commence from 8 am as per date schedules.
• All respective wards are requested to arrange all related facilities.
• Each ward needs to assign two persons to work with the team of AH & Veterinary Service department.
• New registration process, renewal, vaccine fees and utilisation charge shall be as usual.
• Respective ward chairman will sign the registration card for the renewal.
• All are directed to maintain the SOP guidelines as per Covid-19 pandemic.
