MMC Shopping Complex fire: Shops in affected block to remain closed

MOKOKCHUNG — The Additional Deputy Commissioner and Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) administrator, Chumlamo Humtsoe, has issued a notice on Monday, directing immediate closure of the entire MMC Shopping Complex block affected by the February 3 fire incident.

Shops in the affected block, including vegetable stalls are to remain closed with immediate effect till further notice, the administrator stated, adding that the precautionary measure has been taken in the interest of public safety.
