MLA Picto Shohe mourns demise of N Akuto Zhimomi

DIMAPUR — MLA Picto Shohe has condoled the demise of N Akuto Zhimomi, NCS, and a resident of New Shena village, Zunheboto district, who passed away on January 27 after a prolonged illness.

In a condolence note, Shohe stated that Zhimomi was an enthusiastic and passionate officer who had served the government in various capacities since March 28, 1965, for decades and described him as a selfless person who constantly worked for the benefit and welfare of the people and society.

He said that his contribution to society and the Atoizu area in particular will be cherished by generations to come, noting further that his demise has created a vacuum that will be difficult to fill.

The MLA extended his condolences to the grieving family and prayed that God would give them strength and courage to bear the irreparable loss.
