Dimapur, Jan. 9 (EMN): NPF legislator from Pughoboto sub-division, Y Vikheho Swu, has planned constituting awards for the best village council chairman (VCC) and best VDB secretary.
Swu, who is also the chairman of Pughoboto sub-division planning and development board (SDPDB), stated this at the first meeting held at the customary court hall, Pughoboto, on January 9. Lauding officers of the sub-division for their contributions in the previous years, he urged them to continue with the same dedication to bring about positive changes in Pughoboto.
Seeking cooperation for more developmental activities in the areas, Swu has planned constituting awards to the best village council chairman and best VDB secretary.
ADC Pughoboto, Phuleshe K Yepthomi, has led in reviewing the last meeting minutes.
Departmental trainings and adoption of Government High Schools in Pughoboto and Ghathashi were discussed in the meeting. Distribution of works for the ensuing Republic Day celebration on January 26 was also finalised.
The house further entrusted CDPO and election department to make power point presentation in next SDPDB meeting.
