Dimapur: Kudecho Khamo, advisor of Civil Administration Works Division and Taxes, who has been elected from 18 Chozuba Assembly constituency held a thanksgiving programme at Chetheba Town Hall under Phek district on March 18.
Kudecho Khamo, in his address, reiterated the need to bring about social changes to improve the living standard of the constituency. He opined that change was needed in every aspect to work with a new vision for the welfare of the constituency.
The advisor acknowledged God for His blessings, the efforts and sacrifices made by the unit office bearers and party workers to ensure his victory with a thumping margin.
He said they won the election through the collective efforts given by all party workers starting at the grassroots level, an update stated.
He also thanked Chief Minister Shri Neiphiu Rio, and party president Chingwang Konyak for reposing their faith on his candidature and also allotting him with the portfolios of CAWD and Taxes. With the victory, he asked the workers to work together on development and welfare of the constituency.

He also advised the party men to not only focus on politics but also search for avenues where they can earn their livelihoods.
"Now through all your blessings, I will represent you all to work for the welfare of our people, now guide me, give me constructive suggestions so that I will strive my best to do justice to our constituency for overall development," the advisor said.
Short speeches were also delivered by Vepozoyi Theyo, campaign committee convenor, Zadulhu Phüswüo, President, Phek district GB Association and Vesüpra Lürüo, member campaign committee.
While the welcome address was delivered by Kuduve Keyho, Chief Agent, vote of thanks by Cisoyi Nyekha, Working President, NDPP 18 Chozuba A/C.
The thanksgiving prayer was pronounced by Thupushoyi Swuro, pastor, Baptist Church Chesezu and benediction by Vechoseyi Rhakho, pastor, Christian Revival Church, Thenyizu.
