DIMAPUR — The festival of the Yimkhiung tribe, Tsüngkamnyu, which was underway from January 15 at Yimkhiung Heritage Village, Mündün, concluded on Wednesday.
It was attended by MLA and chairman of DPDB Tuensang, Imtichoba, serving as the guest of honour, who, speaking on the occasion, called upon the gathering to say ‘no to drugs’, according to a DIPR report.
The host of the festival, S Kiusumew Yimchunger, Advisor to Fire and Emergency Service, Home Guard, and Civil Defence, exhorted the people in his speech not to encourage drugs but to strive for a drug-free society.
SP Shamator, Khruosutho, also delivered a brief speech on the occasion.
