Mkg recommends creation of 3 EAC hqs

Dimapur, Oct. 8 (EMN): Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) has recommended creation of new EAC headquarters at Longmak under ADC Mangkolemba and at Luyong and Pangsang in the district. The recommendation to this effect was made at the monthly meeting on October 7 held in the ADC (Planning) conference hall under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman DPDB, Mokokchung, Sushil Kumar Patel. During discussions, the members have recommended for creation of a new EAC Headquarter at Longnak under ADC Mangkolemba as it would cater to the needs of administration to a number of far flung villages from ADC headquarters. The house decided to forward the same to the government for approval. DPDB Mokokchung had earlier forwarded its recommendation for creation of new EAC Headquarters at Luyong and Pangsang in Mokokchung district. DC and Vice Chairman has sought detail report from Agri & allied departments on the damage caused to crops in the district during the current monsoon and directed the concerned Head of Offices to submit the report by October 17 or 18. The house also gave its approval for registration of AIM Ministry. Meanwhile, the DC has expressed displeasure at the absence of some members without leave and said that he would write to the concerned Head of Departments against those DPDB members who were absent in the meeting.
