Dimapur, Feb. 25: Mokokchung Press Club (MPC) held its annual get together at Menüng river, Longjang on February 25, along with its family members and friends.
The annual get together in the form of picnic was held as a means to relax, to learn from each other and also to find means and ways on how to best serve the society as members of the fourth estate.
MPC mentioned that the club was formed in the year 2008, and is the youngest press clubs in Nagaland but one of the most active press clubs in the state.
MPC also stated that since its foundation, the club has been playing a proactive role in the Mokokchung society. At present, the club has more than fifteen members representing different print and audio-visual houses, and the club is headed by Limalenden Longkumer as president and Sashimeren Jamir as the general secretary.
