Dimapur, June 29 (EMN): Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE), Kohima, organised a theatre play on June 28 at the college auditorium under the guidance of Cynthia Kolakhe, MITE faculty of drama and art in education.
An update from the college stated that the programme began with a presentation by the student-teachers of semester II on the theme ‘Positive attitude leads to success.’
It stated that the speaker and renowned choreographer, Abang Ajem, gave a talk about how hard work leads to success. In his speech, he mentioned vision, dream and satisfaction as important factors in every individual’s life. He added that education is important for understanding the capacity of every individual.
It was followed by a puppet show presented by student-teachers.
The guest of honour, Dr. TS Pandian, associate professor of MITE, delivered a few words on the importance of art in one’s life.
Report stated that student teachers performed a musical drama and runway show during the programme and also interacted with the Tetseo Sisters.
The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Thungchobeni R Tsopoe.
