DIMAPUR — The Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE), Kohima, organised an extension-cum-outreach activity to Rüsoma village on February 24 on the theme of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047: Voice of youth campaign’.

According to a press release, during the activity, semester-II student teachers were divided into 24 groups consisting of four members. Each member was to visit a household and complete a survey questionnaire.

The survey focused on education and whether the families were aware of any government-provided schemes. Additionally, the students suggested necessary schemes to the villagers that would be helpful to them and their families.

The student union of Rüsoma village, village council members, and elders cooperated significantly for the successful completion of the activity, the release said.
