Kohima, March 8 (EMN): The district disaster management authority and the Southern Angami Youth Organisation (SAYO) did a commendable act by tracing one missing tourist and re-uniting him with his friends on Thursday night.
According to SAYO president Zakieleto Tsükhrü, one Israeli tourist went missing on Thursday, March 7, while returning from Dzükuo Valley. The male tourist reportedly lost his way after he went ahead of his friends.
On receiving the missing news, the search operation team started looking out for him at around 5 pm. After hours of searching, the team found him at around 11 pm on the same day. The team guided the tourist back safely.
SAYO president said that the missing tourist was fine and unharmed when he was found. He added that it was 6 am on Friday morning when they reached National Highway – 29.
Tsükhrü informed that it was the first missing case this year, although similar incident had happened last year.
