Our Correspondent Kohima, June 10 (EMN): One minor girl, aged nine, reportedly committed suicide on the evening of June 8 in Kohima. According to a reliable source, the girl attempted to hang herself from a tree near Billy Graham Road. An eyewitness claimed that she was still making movements when discovered at around 6.30 pm. An ambulance was said to have arrived on the spot but by then it was too late to save the child. The body was handed over to the police. Further information could not be obtained from the police as calls went unanswered.
