Minerva Academy conducts selection trial at Tseminyu old town
Kohima, March 11 (EMN): A selection trial for Minerva Academy of Punjab was held at the RSA ground in Tseminyu old town as part of Minerva Academy’s Northeast trials on March 9 in collaboration with Vanguard FC Tseminyu.
An update stated that five officials from Minerva Academy came to scout 37 local boys at the trial. At the end of hours of drills and short-listing, three boys namely Anjü Kath, Ahilo Magh and Ayhunlo Chung, were selected to undergo the final trials for Minerva Academy at Chandigarh for a chance to get 100% scholarship and 10 years contract with free education and accommodation, it stated.
Management team partners of Vanguard FC Tseminyu, Chenonlo Woch and Benlo Thyug, thanked Minerva Academy for the initiative in reaching out as far as Tseminyu to scout for talents. They expressed hope in the future of Indian football because of such initiatives being taken to tap talents and prepare talented footballers for the future, it stated.
The team of officials from Minerva Academy was led by Yash Pareek and coach Narendra Singh Bhandari under the initiative of its founder and owner Ranjit Bajaj.
