Dimapur, March 31 (EMN): The 34th annual sports meet of MGMHSS which began on March 27 culminated on March 30, stated an update received here on Sunday.
Addressing the closing ceremony, B. Ravi, sports meet director, stated that, 'Children are the hope of the nation and sports boost up emotional and mental stability for success. Teachers play a vital role in shaping the personality of the children'.
The programme began with an invocation prayer by Teacher Sentinaro followed by welcome speech by Sir Ratan Chakraborty.
The programme further continued with flag hoisting by the chief guest and different sports events including a football match between the higher secondary students.
Green house bagged the first place with blue house as runners-up and yellow house bagging the 3rd place.
