MGM School organises study tour
DIMAPUR — MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, organised a study tour for Class 12 (Arts) students to Kaziranga National Park and Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park in Durgapur village, Hatikuli, Golaghat district of Assam, as part of the curriculum.
According to a press release, the tour group, comprising 62 students (both boys and girls) and four teachers, departed from Dimapur on November 7. Throughout the tour, they observed animals in their natural habitat and gained insights into the significance of protecting and preserving flora and fauna.
The experience highlighted the crucial role such conservation efforts play in attracting visitors and tourists, consequently generating income for the local populace and essential revenue for the government.
