DIMAPUR — The MGM Higher Secondary School team, representing Dimapur district, emerged as the winner in the State Level Parliamentary Quiz Competition, which was organised by the Directorate of School Education Nagaland on November 24 at the Administrative Training Institute in Kohima.
According to a press release, the school team consisted of Anok Konyak, Shoawang Konyak, and Mechibeni Mozhui, all of whom are Class 11 students.
Earlier in November, the same team won first place in the district-level competition. The state champions received a citation certificate and a cash prize of INR 18,000.
They were felicitated during the school’s morning assembly on Tuesday, and Rev. Fr. Giju George, vice president, and Reji Abraham, principal, spoke on the occasion, congratulating the team on their outstanding achievement.
