Dimapur, June 23 (EMN): MGM College, Midland, has completed inspection for induction of new courses in BA (honours) namely History and Economics along with B. Com (Honours) and general course on June 21.
Due to pandemics, the inspection was conducted through offline and video conferencing modes, an update from the college stated.
It informed that along with the existing BA honours courses in English, Political Science, Education and Sociology, the college would introduce BA honours in History, Economics, and B. Com general and honours from session 2021.
Dr. Tiathoshi Jamir, History department from Nagaland University, and Dr. Amrendra Kumar, department of Commerce, along with Dr. Temjenzulu Jamir, department of Economics have completed the inspection process, it added.
It stated that the college’s principal, Rev. Fr. Dr. Shibu Varghese, and the vice principal in-charge Dr. Kavika Yepthomi, and HoD of all the departments were present during the inspection. It stated that the inspection team has verified documents, physically inspected infrastructure, and interacted with faculty members.
Meanwhile, the college’s principal, Fr. Dr. Shibu Varghese, has thanked the inspection team and also appreciated their commitment towards higher education.
