Merentola of Longsa Centre ‘A’ receiving national-level award for best Anganwadi wor[/caption]
Dimapur, July 22 (EMN): National-level award for best Anganwadi worker from Nagaland was given to Merentola, Anganwadi worker of Longsa Centre ‘A’ under Ongpangkong North ICDS project.
The award was given away by the Additional Director of Social Welfare department, Tulula Pongen during a felicitation programme held on July 15 at Longsa village community hall in Mokokchung district. The award carries a certificate and a cash of INR 50,000.
The programme was chaired by Talisangla Nokdir, CDPO, Ongpangkong North, while the welcome address was delivered by Imliyanger, CDPO, ICDS Project Kobulong.
Short speeches were delivered by the chairman of Longsa village council, and the Additional Director of Social Welfare department.
