[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he newly constructed BDO office building at Merangmen falling under 30th Alongtaki A/C in Mokokchung district was inaugurated on November 19 last by Dr Benjongliba Aier, Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture & chairman NSAMB.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dr Aier exhorted the government officials and public to make the best use of the facilities provided.“This new BDO office is a great step in removing various critical gaps in rural development. So make use of it as your own. Despite the limited resources at our disposal, now government officials can dispose off their assigned duties in time and with comfort,” Dr Aier said thanking the RD department for constructing the new office which falls under his constituency. “Lots of beautiful and majestic infrastructures have been developed across the State by the DAN government under the dynamic and able leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio.
This effort of the DAN government to develop every nook and corner of the State is worthy to be appreciated by one and all,” the Parliamentary Secretary further said.
Dr Aier also appreciated the people of Tzurangkong for rendering cooperation to the government. He further sought support from the people of the area to join hands with the government in the effort to bring peace and development in the State.
The Parliamentary Secretary was accompanied by CL John, Parliamentary Secretary for RD & REPA, Dr Longriniken Ao, MLA & Advisor NSBDA, including departmental officials and NPF party workers among others.
