Dimapur, Nov. 15 (EMN): Nagaland beat Manipur by 100 runs at the Men’s U-23 One Day Trophy played at Cuttuck in Orissa on Friday, November 15.
After losing the toss and put in to bat first, Nagaland scored a competitive total of 245 runs losing eight wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
Nikhil scored 109 runs while Joshua chipped in with 37 runs.
Nongthombam took three wickets for Manipur while Khangembam took two wickets.
Chasing 246 runs to win, Manipur were bowled out for 129 runs in 38.4 overs
Chingakham and Alfred scored 40 and 19 runs respectively for Manipur.
Shamwang took three wickets for Nagaland while Vaibhav and Akavi took two wickets apiece.
Result: Nagaland won by 100 runs.
